Position Overview
Job Title: ER Veterinary Technician
Job Status: Full‐time or Part‐time
Supervisor: Department Head
ARISE is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and critical care (AVECCC) and specialty hospital in Queen Creek, AZ. We have the most skilled doctors in the state and provide significantly complex treatments in the western US. The teams in this department work closely with surgeons, oncologists, internists, radiologists, and a critical care team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. The hospital provides an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology including, but not limited to, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Job Purpose: The purpose of the Veterinary Technician is to provide high quality medical support and nursing care to companion animal patients. The Veterinary Technicians assist within the outpatient emergency department. All teams are under the direction of the doctor on staff. The doctor is the lead, and will be prioritizing patients, directing the team and is the ultimate decision maker for all medical treatments, while Shift Leads are the leads for managing the floor and its flow.
Compensation: $20-29/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday or Thursday-Saturday (3/12s, full-time)
